English Football in the US

The Summer of 2026 welcomed numerous British soccer clubs to friendly matches around the United States – with the tri-state area welcoming Leeds, Sunderland, Wrexham, and Liverpool. The venues ranged from Sports Illustrated Stadium in Harrison, New Jersey to Subaru Park in Chester, Pennsylvania – up to Yankee Stadium in the Bronx. With any luck, we’ll see international matches continue to grow here, and hopefully well beyond pre-season friendlies.
